2013 Vice Chancellor's Public Debate

Thursday September 5th

Throughout the last term of federal parliament, journalists, social commentators and members of the public alike have decried the quality of political debate in this country. But has the quality of political discourse really been steadily deteriorating over time, or are there merits to be salvaged from our current political environment?

The Monash Association of Debaters has the great pleasure of inviting you to the 2013 Vice Chancellor’s Public Debate.

Join us two days before the federal election to hear six public figures debate the topic: ‘That politics in Australia has lost its way’.

The debate will be followed by a short Q&A session, with questions will be sourced from audience and those following the debate online.

Entry is free and includes light refreshments.
